Our Reflections

Does it Feel Different?
In a word, YES!
YES!
We are happy to report that yes, things do feel differently after getting married! Every moment is happier and more special since our mini-moon began. It is very surprising but very special.
Wedding Memories: Michael

❤️
My wedding memory is that you were stunning in your dress and I wasn’t surprised at all! Before that, when I walked into the ceremony, I remember that I felt like I was floating! It was incredible. I also remember being afraid that I would make a mistake during the ceremony since I didn’t know the wedding plan extremely well and I didn’t memorize much of the rehearsal. There was one part — I think during the vows — where I didn’t really listen to India’s wording and of course not getting the words right was a fear I’ve had for weeks. But I was able to say all the right words without needing India to repeat them. Which is unbelievable to me. I guess that kind of described the whole day. Just unbelievable. It was simply magical!
Wedding Memories: Sarah

❤️
Just before the procession, I was so excited that I completely forgot the order that people were walking in, so I was heading downstairs when I saw Michael below. I dove behind the upstairs bar to hide just as he looked upwards, and almost tripped over 5 million layers of dress.
I also forgot my bouquet in the suite, and while one of photographers did me a solid and went back up for it, I had a really nice quiet moment with my brother Avery.
As I reached for Michael’s hands during the ceremony, I felt as I often feel around him – warm, safe, centered, and home.
What was the white thing
in the welcome bag?
hint: it was not a mint
Don’t eat that…
Unfortunately, we did not have time to do all that we wanted before our flight to PV and also before our wedding day. One thing that wasn’t done was printing a list for EVERY gift bag that showed its contents. That was mostly ok but there’s one item we are sure you’re having trouble with: the super compressed towelette that looks like an oversized white mint. Please share your stories of your experience trying to figure this thing out. We’ll share our joys and sorrows together!
Michael’s Wedding Ring
In case anyone missed his excitement
Michael now understands why Sarah was so in love with her ring. Michael loves his so much! He keeps remarking about it. He used to have an intelligent, silicone ring before that would never send him to the hospital, but he loves his new gold ring because it is so shiny that it cannot be missed whereas you had to look for a ring to see his silicone one. He wanted a ring so badly when he was in his 20s, because his dancing was just so impressive that some women were a little overzealous in their pursuit and he wanted an easy way to decline, but now he’s so glad that he didn’t because having a ring on that finger is now very special and it probably wouldn’t feel the same if he had ever worn a ring there before. (In his 20s, he was so close to wearing a ring he got from a divorced friend but the size was too big. But it really almost happened! Michael feels blessed in so many ways!!)
